About this tool

Splitting helps when you only need to send part of a long document, such as a single invoice from a monthly statement or one chapter of a report. You decide exactly which pages go into each new file.

Pages are copied without being re-printed, so the new PDFs look exactly like the original. Everything happens on your device and nothing is uploaded.

Questions

How do I write page ranges?

Use numbers separated by commas. For example, 1-3, 5, 8-10 gives three files: pages 1 to 3, page 5, and pages 8 to 10. Writing 8- means page 8 to the end.

Can I extract a few pages into one new PDF?

Yes. Choose "Extract pages into one PDF", list the pages you want, and they'll be saved together as a single file.

Why did I get a ZIP file?

When a split produces more than one PDF, they're packed into a ZIP so you only download once. Your computer or phone can open ZIP files without extra software.

Does splitting change the quality?

No. The pages are copied exactly, so text and images stay the same as in the original.
